Well on topic, it's about how wonderful it is to be complete and whole, and the side benefit of having your clothing fit in the manner to which it was designed. Every single day this is just a reminder of how great it is to be cured once and for all, which is a real source of happiness that can't be taken away. :)
It is wonderful to be complete, everytime I get out of the shower and see myself in the mirror I see the image of a complete woman, the person I should have been born as.  Yes clothes fit better but better than that is the way my inner being now fits better with my new body.  Finally after so many years I have an inner peace and happiness I never thought I could or would have.

you're absolutely right- the best fit of all is the way our new bodies fit who we really are. Nothing better than that ;)

Wow can't belive what I have been reading in this thread, some naughty girls here :)

From experience I can say I have gone out with a skirt on and no panties. It wasn't a long bohemian type either, but a jeans skirt that went to my knees. if i didn't keep my legs close while sitting I definately gave a show and my BF at the time got one ( he also didn't know my background, so this was very gratfying to me).

The comment about the camel toe made me laugh. One of the first times I went out wearing leggings I was with a friend of mine who was born a woman and knew of my past. We were shopping in the mall and I met her there. She came up to me and we hugged and had a little cheeek peck. She said "let me look at you!" and I stepped back and opened my hands and gave a little knee bend kinda showing off. She had a huge smile and said I looked great and leaned in to whisper I was rocking the camel toe. She said I turned beat red, but told me not to worry, it's just another sign of being a woman. I was concious of it all day and made sure my top covered it up most of the day.

LOL... HRT seems to have done it's job on the annoying dangler and I'm rather good at tucking but I can't wait for the day when I will never have to tuck the junk again

Being able to slip into what ever you feel like and be comfortable must be a great feeling

Amen to that!

I can't believe I missed this thread until now.  Pre-op I told my daughter that I wanted the surgery so my clothes would fit properly.  She rolled her eyes and said that she hoped I had more reasons than that.  (Yes, I had lots of reasons, but that was one of them.)  It's nice to see I wasn't alone.

Even the jeans I wore pre-op fit better now – snug where they should be.  Being configured correctly is wonderful in so many ways.  Haven't gone commando with a skirt yet, though, but like most women around here I rarely wear skirts.  Hmmm, it's supposed to be warm and breezy tomorrow...  >:-)
