I figured I'd mention the therapist's name and site since some people around here know of him.

The site is http://www.gendertherapist.com/ and the therapist is Dr. Graham L Peveller like in the title.

I've had four sessions with him. They all went fine.
On the last session, the online chat was down so I sent him an email. He messaged back and we re-scheduled a couple days later. We had it then and it was fine.

Then he asked me to pay for the next four sessions so I did.
When it came time for the next session, I accidentally slept through it. I emailed him apologizing and said I'd like to still continue the next three with him. He never responded. I sent another email a few days later. Still no response.

There's nothing on his website about him being unavailable so why could he possibly be ignoring me? The sessions went fine before and he even missed one due to his chat being off (like I mentioned above) so I don't see why he would ignore if he was like annoyed with me for missing the session or something. He seems far more professional than to do something like that so I don't understand what's going on.

Let it sit for a bit then try again.

I seriously doubt that he is ignoring you.

He might be out of town or something; if he doesn't show up for your next appointment I would be concerned, but at this point I don't think it's something to fret over.

I suppose. I'm just kind of worrying because he's like my last chance for my current location. There's just no therapists that are willing to work with gender situations and there's no gender specialists around here.. plus I've spent the last bit of my spare cash on him already.. so I'd really like it to work out and stuff.

My next session is tomorrow so I'll see what's up then.

Don't worry. He's a good guy, I doubt he's ignoring you. He'll be around. Did everything go okay last session?

It's great that you have shared your concerns.

I think most of us have felt the sort of feelings you are having now. Hopefully the next session will go OK.

Hope you'll get back and say how you are getting along. I'm pretty sure there are many here thinking about starting therapy and would love to have some idea of what is involved and how you feel about things.

Yeah, everything went fine the last session. Then I paid for the next four.

We're supposed to have one tonight in about 6 hours so I'll say what happens.

I went to the normal time we would have sessions just to ask what was up. Apparently he didn't check his email? I dunno'. This guy is hard to understand at some times, but we're having the session tomorrow.
