I don't know what to do, if I should get a voice therapist (I don't even know where I would find one or have money for one) or some other way.

How do you guys do it? I've looked at software but I don't like ordering stuff I've never heard of or tested before. Youtube videos seem great but I want a way to measure my voice up to a bar or something because your voice always sounds different to yourself than to other people.

p.s. Sorry if this kind of topic has already been posted.

I used the Deep Stealth Voice training.  But there is a very good YouTube  http://www.youtube.com/user/tgvoice  and also her web site at http://www.exceptionalvoice.com/

That's the one I was looking at but didn't know if it was any good or not :). Does it use a microphone or is it like a normal dvd? Thanks for the links! :)

http://www.youtube.com/user/shevoice has some big insights and useful tips. I've gotten tremendous results from training the muscles she talks about.. it surprises me her page doesn't have many views. Check her out!

Deep Stealth I believe uses the "Spectrogram" program from Brothersoft.com which is what I also like.. it's freeware ;D Deep Stealth actually has instructions on their site to show how to use it correctly for feminization purposes.

Hope this helps.

It is basic dvd's, but the Spectrogram program they recommend does need a microphone.  Their program worked very well for me.

Singing lessons rule! :)

Seriously, they make your speaking voice better too.

The voice is my personal nemesis.

Natural, sonorous, baritone speaking voice.  It is MOST uncomfortable to try to speak in the higher registers for me.  This is my stumbling block in transition and my great challenge.

Deep Stealth discs are very good indeed.  Of course, one has to practice a whole lot.

God, this is my stumbling block in transition.    :-\
Believe.  Persist.  Arrive.    :D
