@ Biblinda about this -
QuoteCheek implants was a better solution for me,
Can I ask a few questions about your cheek implants?

Are they placed along the side of cheekbone or on the front area, below the eyes where the fatty cheeks usually are?  Also, I understand they are permanent and don't move, is that right?  And what change did you notice mostly, is it the view from the front or from the side?
Sorry to be asking these questions, but sites I have visited really don't give that kind of information.  I am seriously thinking of getting them done in the future.  :)
Are there any scars and lastly, can it be done with local or does it need general anesthetic?  :)

I don't have cheek implants ... yet ... But they are on my shopping list for FFS. The surgeon I consulted (Dr Bart van der Ven) explained that they would be wired onto my existing cheekbones and if I recall correctly he said that they would gradually fuse with the natural bone to form a single continuous cheekbone.

I absolutely need that because I my cheekbones stop halfway across my face in typical male fashion, leaving a hollow to either side of my nose. As a guy that looks perfectly normal. On a woman it would be seriously haggard. Hormones will fill me out to some extent, but for proper structural improvement implants are essential.

Hope that helps a little ...
