Keeping Birth Name?

I'm keeping mine.
People always assume that it's my chosen name anyways.
And I've never met a female Morgan. <:

I can see Alea as both genders, but I see Meridith being only feminine. sorry dude, just my honest opinion. But I have heard of males being given a feminine middle name at birth, particularly if it meant something to their parents. Just something to thing about.

I also had a male coworker named Tracy who got hassled from time to time over his name.

Lately I've been seeing so many guys named Tracy it's not even funny. In fact, I know of more guys named Tracy now than females. To my knowledge none of them are trans.

I've only known Meredith to be used as a female name, but if you like it, keep it. My birthname (and still legal name) is Alexa.. I considered keeping it for awhile, because I've already encountered situations where people have just shrugged it off (like at my bank yesterday.. lol). Butttttt I like Aven more.. and it's more gender neutral. =]

I like the idea of a guy being called Meredith because it is a traditionally male name, and you should keep it if you like it anyway.  But it might make it harder to pass because there are a lot more female Merediths than male ones these days. 

I like the idea of keeping my birth name (Kim) because it's traditionally androgynous and I'd rather not deal with the hassle of changing my name.  I've met guys named Kim in other countries, but, unfortunately, not in the one I live in.   At least for my generation (my dad has a male cousin named Kim).  I don't like the name and don't think it suits me, but that's how it goes with names, I guess . . .  So I'm kind of on the fence about this one.

I might get it legally changed from Kimberly to Kimball.  No one's ever called me Kimberly, Kimball is a family name, and it would be similar enough to avoid too much confusion.
