A Tribute to Victoria Carmen White

A good friend remembers the woman who lived her life to the fullest and with no excuses.

Victoria Carmen White, 28, was killed last Sunday, September 12. Maplewood Police and the Essex County Prosecutor have labeled her death a homicide and continue to investigate the crime. White's good friend Angela DeRocco remembers her, as her family prepares to mourn White at funeral services this morning in Newark.

I can't even begin to explain the pain that my heart feels. Such a wonderful, caring, loving, woman was taken out of this world—for what reason?

She touched so many lives and so many looked up to her and were inspired by her. She taught us how to live our life to the fullest and how to push drama out of it.
