Indiana Hospital Denies Treatment to Transexual

"It's alleged a transgender woman was ridiculed by staffers while seeking treatment for a bloody cough. The victim, a man undergoing operations to become a woman, spoke to 24 Hour News 8, but asked we not identify her because of death threats in recent days since the story first broke."

I'm a transsexual, and I can't stop following this story.  Maybe it's because you people make me laugh so much with your pointlessly absurd judgments.  Personally, I'm too busy living a happy life to let your hatefulness get me down.  Really, come on, folks.  Get out of the house a little more and enjoy some of the beautiful diversity in the world.  This isn't high school.  As an adult, it's okay to be brave and different, so consider letting go of some of that juvenile hostility.  It isn't good for your health.

As for me, I'm a caring daughter, a benevolent girlfriend (my boyfriend's words, not mine), a wonderful employee, and a genuinely kind woman.  I'm a living kidney donor, a returning college student, and I'm also a transsexual.  Big deal.  It's just one small aspect of my life, not my defining quality.  Transsexuals are real people who make real contributions to the world and who have rich lives with families, loved ones, jobs, kids, and everything else that others have and do.  These judgments are akin to judging someone entirely on the fact that they are bald or overweight.  It doesn't actually tell you much about the person.
So, I'm happy to share the planet with you all even if you do potentially want to harm me.  And rather than continue your hate, I'll wish you all the very best in life.  Good luck everyone
