So after about 2-3 months of worrying I finally got my hair cut. I was pretty nervous and even more nervous when I had to present a picture of man to the hair dresser but she seemed fine with it. Whilst getting my hair cut my boyfriends mum said "Ooo Meg looks like a girly girl." I wasnt sure how to react at that point. Happy that people didnt suspect my gender issues or worried that I was gonna look like more of a girl. Anyway after it was cut I looked in the mirror and wasnt sure how to feel. I was happy it was short but in some ways a little upset that I looked slightly more girly and even younger than I did before which really pisses me off. I think I was also upset by the fact I hadn't magically aquired a mans face lol. I usually wear a hat anyway so I wasnt too put down.  I got home, washed my hair and now im loving it. When it was cut it was too straight which made me look like a 12 year old lesbian but its all scruffy and messy (which my mum didnt particulary like) and its looks more guyish but still not to the point where people will suspect things or believe that I like women. I also look more like im 18 than 12 which I am relieved at. Hopefully I wont be have to show ID when I buy red bull (yes seriously at 17 going on 18 I am actually being asked for ID for energy drinks lol)

hahah it's the same with me!
I'm 21 and I get asked for ID to trade in games (need to be 15).

I had the a similar situation with my hair recently too.
I just got too pissed off with how girly I look (mind you I really do like like a 13 year old boy) but since i couldn't just lop my tits off there and then, I decided to take the scissors to my hair.
Suprisingly, it doesn't look too bad. I gave myself a more messy, boyish cut and when I got to training that night people kept saying how girly I look!
Guess I must have missed the mark a little bit.

lol yeah. People seem to think I look more girly but it depends on what I'm wearing. Sometimes when I go for the train I get a lot of looks off people who all seem a little confused so it must of made me look slightly boyish. I just wish it didnt make look so young.
