If you like walking out of a theater whistling a tune, a couple of New Orleans theater companies are offering opportunities in October. Prefer to laugh? Then it's really your lucky month.

Singing -- and screaming -- will be part of the show at Teatro Wego as The Jefferson Performing Arts Society launches its 2010-2011 season with "Scream Queens: The Musical." Set during a convention for horror movie fans, this interactive romp lets theater-goers participate with a group of six B-movie bombshells as they recount their careers, complete with video clips.
