YEY! I've started my HRT!!

Well, after waiting for almost 6 1/2 months (for reasons other than any mandatory waiting period), I have started my HRT!
I LOVE my Doc and of course her wonderful assistant that have really taken the time to make this journey of mine so incredible. I also feel lucky that I live in a city that allows for most of my meds to cost me almost nothing due to the financial assistance programs.

I took advantage of the time I had to let those close to me know what I was going to go through; and I have to admit almost all of my friends and some family have been so amazingly incredible to me, and are prepared to hold my hand if need be while I travel down this road.
My wife is also very supportive and I gave her the "honor" of placing my patches on me. I'll post pics later.

So far, I am being placed on ...

SPIRONOLACTONE PILLS twice a day

and 2 patches of CLIMARA =ESTRADIOL TRANSDERMAL SYSTEM  (on each side of my love handles LOL)

Baby steps for now.

I'll try to keep this thread going and let you now about the changes as they occur (emotions, physical changes etc).
