How long does spiro stay in the body?

I'm planning to start on spiro, and I need to know how long it takes after you stop taking the pills until the effects are gone? That is, until the effects are faint enough that a before/after blood test would be within standard variance of each other.

Thank you in advance.

Well I don't know about an actual half-life it depends on many factors like metabolism and such I've also not had a blood test to check but you have to take a divided dose twice a day usually because it's effects will begin to wear off after 16 hours.

I've gone 3 days without taking a dose and I was certainly getting signs of rising T-levels but I think it would take a month or so for your T level to return to normal if you flatlined it with AA's and if you've been taking AA's for a long time it might never return to what it once was.

Don't worry tho unless they are specifically looking for it they won't detect spiro or low T levels.

Thank you. I'm not sure they won't be specifically looking, though - and I can't really take any risks.

I'll probably have been on spiro for a bit over a year by the time I go to the endo. If they detect that I've been self-medicating... well, all the stories I've heard suggest that they punish that particular sin by delaying transition considerably.
