lump at injection site.

I noticed today a lump on my hip/butt, its right where I had my first shot 2 weeks ago, I got the shot from the nurse.

it is just a hard kinda bump thing, not really colored funny, normal skin color.  Will this go away on its own? is it normal? Is it an infection or something?

It might be an infection. I'm not on T, so I can't quite say. It's probably an infection though.

Sounds like a cyst to me but it'd be best for you to check with your doctor.

Is it red, sore, itchy and generally nasty? Infection.

Tiny, hard, barely noticeable? Just a lump. Bit of scar tissue, usually. Rub it and it'll break down eventually. I've had a few of these.

Worst one was when they injected me where my belt usually sits. Hurt, took ages to heal with all the rubbing pressure (gotta hold the binder down with something).

If in doubt, get a GP or a nurse to take a quick look at it. It'll take them all of 10 seconds.

Most of all, don't panic. From what I understand, infections are pretty damn rare especially if you're using clean needles, wipes, gloves, and / or having a nurse do it.

this and I also sometimes get a lump type feeling that is almost like a knot in the muscle just from it being sore and cramping.

I don't know if you have already been told this, but sometimes it helps if you rub the area immediatly after the injection.

It will be a good idea to tell someone. To eliminate any possible problems, but also so the nurse can refine her technique.

well I wont be seeing that nurse anymore, I do my own shots now

and actually after a few hours it went away, it is barley noticeable now

I get this little bump after each injection but it goes away every time within a few days. Since Testosterone is intended to be injected there for delayed release I assume the bump is the T until the muscle works it out and into the blood stream. If a rash would occur or severe irritation though it may be more. Since you said it went away I'd say you're all in the clear.

Bare in mind, it is a puncture wound in a sense.
But the swelling usually goes down in a week.
