Hi everyone, I'm a pre-op MTF in China.
I'm planning an SRS years ago. During two years investigation I thought Dr. Suporn in Thailand would be the one I'm looking for. I don't know any Thai language and my spocken English is very very poor, so I wrote to a famous agent who specializes in helping Chinese MTFs doing SRS in Thailand. But she replied to me saying, Dr. Suporn was recently suspected of letting the apprentices to performing the SRS operations instead of himself. Though the agent didn't bring forward any proof, but her words really scared me. I'm really unwilling to give up Dr. Suporn and turn to others, so I'm here seeking for your help. Any informations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot for sharing.

I've heard of Dr Preecha doing this but never Dr Suporn. The best thing to do is to email the clinic and find out first hand..

admin@supornclinic.com

As far as language goes there may be some service available that you could ask them about as well!

Thanks for your suggestions Muffin~

I do consider to email the clinic, but I have no idea whether it is rude to ask about that kind of things, and more important, can I really get the truth from the clinic themselves?

Only if my misunderstanding, It seems to be not so honorable for them to concede it...

Heya it is a legitimate question and by law they are obligated to answer it truthfully. I must admit I always assumed he did all the surgeries. Thinking about it the website may have a sentence where it states that he does do all of the surgeries himself, I can't remember, it might be why I've never questioned it after hearing about Preecha. So maybe scan the website first and if you're still in doubt then ask them via email! I've spoken to Sophie from the clinic a number of times and she is great, the question is fine! Hope this helps. ^_______^

All surgeons have apprentices sometimes otherwise there would be no new surgeons able to do the job.

Maybe those rumours are about Dr Suporn letting some well trained apprentices carry out their first surgeries by themselves?

If the SRS surgery school in Thailand are true then there will be some very well trained new surgeons available to act as apprentices with the like of Dr Suporn, Dr Chet etc.

i have just booked surgery with Dr. Suporn to January

the mail that you recieve from the Suporn Clinic when you schedule for surgery states clearly that :

"Surgeon

Dr Suporn conducts all his procedures personally without a surgical assistant other than his anaesthesiologist and his team of operating theatre nurses."

i will glad to help and share the little i know if you have any questions regards to Suporn/scheduling with him

I was to Suporn 4 years ago because he is the best in my opinion. Cost was not an object, I traveled halfway around to world. Do not listen to propaganda. Talk to him yourself.

Hi Funshine,

Thanks a lot to share the letter~~ And so glad for you to have booked your ticket^^

Well I am now working hard on reading through Dr. Suporn's website, using my poor English gift:P And your mail

makes me feel more confident of him:) If settling on Dr. Suporn, I would expect to have my surgery in midspring next year^^

Hi lisagurl,

Thank you for sharing your experience^^ I entirely agree with you~ The surgery may be one of the most important things

in my whole life, so cost is never an obstacle. The first homework I must do hard and well on is ensuring that the doctor

I'm going to choose is the best one fit for me:)
