Well I assume you sit down to pee. It will go into the toilet. Wipe yourself off maybe carry a pack of baby wipes with you for cleaning your butt off.

I talk to my female doctor about my peeing. She said, All woman pee differently since they all have a different vagina. Some spray and some do not. You are a woman a unique woman with a unique vagina, allow it to be unique, I wipe my self after every pee myself. Think of it you have a sterilization unit to clean you after you go pottie.

I'm 2 years post-op, and my my urine stream has been straight and constant since a few monthes after the op, but now I still always wipe myself after every pee. That's pretty normal. I think most women do like this. So, Pia, don't worry too much, and hope things are going well for you.

You're more than welcome. I don't remember exactly how many monthes, but I think it's something between 4-6 monthes.

What peeps don't understand sometimes is that everything's repositioned during GRS so it's going to take time for your body & pelvic muscles to adjust.  I'm too a Bowers' girl btw, had GRS in 2005 & took me a whole year for my urine stream to normalise.

Don't think there's a lack of understanding there.  But why do some peeps have got different results?.  I know everybody's different but even so it makes me wonder.

All it takes is one stitch to be in a different place I would imagine. Considering the differences in everyones anatomy down there just in nature, it's reasonable that after major changes that there would bean even greater variance.

I'm beginning to contemplate this is true.  I know a few gals that have also gone to Marci for their GRS & unlike me they didn't have any problems with their urine stream being "erratic" the first few months post-op.

My urine stream normalised after only two months post op.

Never had a problem with urine stream. It's always been direct to the point since the first time after sugery.

Consider yourself lucky. It isn't something you want to experience. Can I ask who your surgeon was?

uh huh....lol  by now that has been corrected eh? the swelling usually causes that to happen and it takes some time.  I uses to p al over til the swelling went down. now it is normal

I am 7mths post and my stream JUST got better.  I close my legs and lean forward.  It will get better.  You are still swollen down there for up to a year.
