Question about a therapist...

Has anyone had an actual session from Dr. Melissa Leonhardt recently? Every time I book an appointment with her, I show up at the time and nothing happens. She later emails me saying that she had computer problems at said time and rebooks the appointment. This has happened at least three times now. x.x Am I the only one having problems getting a session with her?

three times is too many.   yep, we all can have comp problems but three times?

if the times were all same time of day i'd be inclined to give her benefit of doubt and try scheduling at oposite end of day to negate any busy internet times.

I know Melissa well and usually she is very reliable, I have sent a private email to her and will let you know what she says.

I just heard back from Melissa Leonhardt and she is still in business and keeping her meetings.

She is a very good and understanding person, I will not comment on the "missed" sessions, but I know they are not intentional.

Oh crap I was thinking about seeing her 🙁 (well....figuratively). An update on this would be nice because I'd like to know if she's extremely busy at this time and won't be able to handle clients appropriately or any other issues before I choose her.

Thank you for that, Sarah Louise. I didn't think it was intentional at all, I was just getting the slightest bit frustrated and was wondering if I'm the only one having trouble. She did get in touch with me though.

I've had several sessions with her recently, including just last Thursday.  She is really great, and if something does come up, she usually tries to contact you prior to the appointment time.  But she is really great, and she just recently wrote me my T letter and has mailed it out to me (I should be getting it in the next few days).  So she is definitely still in business 🙂

Yeah, everything's fixed now and I'm getting my letter this week. I'm definitely happy. C:

therapists have a professional code of conducts so to miss so many so offhand is not professional.  get her legal qualifiucatiosn and report her towhatever professional body she belongs to.
why put up with second rate service?  do you treat your customers the same way?
