I've had a few, two of which were memorable in very different ways...the one which was memorable in a good way, though, was with a girl I'd met through a discussion between seniors (me) and school alumni (her). Our mutual friend had set up a double date, though we didn't know each other other than that discussion. She was pretty though, plus she'd gone to this school I was interested in and...well, I couldn't say what she saw in me. But yeah.
We were supposed to go to the planetarium for First Friday Fractals, but it didn't work out that way. I met her and my friend at my friend's house (they lived together at the time) and we hung around before heading out to the planetarium. They sold out of tickets before we got there, so we just kind of wandered around for a while. We hung out in Old Town, at the park, at her house watching Resident Evil...nothing about that night wasn't fun. She was nervous, but so was I. Eventually it was like two in the morning, and we just sat outside looking at the stars. Our friend and her boyfriend (along with her sister and her boyfriend, I believe?) had already gone to sleep. We were out there until our friend came outside, near sunrise...I didn't leave until seven that morning, after showing up there around five in the evening the previous day.
I hadn't wanted to leave. After that night, we would pull all-nighters IMing, messaging, etc. It was ridiculous. Even now she's showed up at 10:45 in the night just 'cos I really needed to see her right then. That was one of the coolest things to learn about her, and still comes into play with so much we do--she can be a night owl. And so can I.
