So here's the deal everyone, I'm working towards my letter for HRT, but I've run into a quandary. Even on simple AAs, breast growth will occur over a substantial amount of time. Furthermore, one cannot just stay on AAs forever, they need some sort of supplemental hormone to add...Since the goal is to trash T, I have to go with E.

My therapist asked the question, "Don't you think people will see you as a girl if you have breasts?" and while the initial thought doesn't worry me, the long term idea of being thrown into the female category like that is a bit against my goal.

What options are there to counter breast growth while still staying away from T and avoiding surgery?

Look at the females in your family...if the large majority of them (particularly your mom and your mom's mother) are small breasted, then I don't think you will have anything to worry much about if you were to go on E.  Your breasts will likely not grow to a very noticeable size.

For what it is worth: breasts aren't always a female only thing ... I had just shy of b-cup breasts which started developing at age 12 and I had them until my late twenties while living as a guy.  So long as I acted like a guy, no one ever questioned my identity due to their existence.  I'm not sure with Androgyny how that will work.

Also I apologize because I don't know your story, but why is surgery not an option?  It sounds like on orchie would give you the effects you want.

Mainly financial constraints.

Also Ashley, it seems my mom is less than a B, while my grandmother is unknown (Mother's mother abandoned her so I'll never meet her.)

Let's say I don't mind the feminizing effects, just as long as I lose the masculinity. Since I'm not going to highlight and make those features prominent, it should balance out and it sounds nice. Breasts are a little hard to hide though! ><

Doesn't a lot of this depend on your body type? If you are really thin, even small breasts could be a problem. If you're bigger, you could have fairly substantial growth but it could be seen as moobs.

This must be such a difficult path to walk.
