So I've been going through my real life experience for the last month and three weeks.

I think I may have someone that is  boy friend material. We've been on two dates, the latest of which was on last Saturday. We went over to the park and ate lunch by the lake. He brought a wood board and put it on the grill there to grill salmon and he added button lemon juice and lime. I have never had a better tasting meal from fish. After words we rode around on the train that they have for the children eating ice cream before trying a game I have heard of before; it's like mini golf but with frisbees. Over all it was an awesome date. I've skyped with him a few times since then and I'm really excited.

When I met him and had our first date he wasn't aware of my situation. Before the first date ended though I told him. I was nervous about it and had my car keys in my hands under the table and was ready to bolt if he looked like he might react dangerously. But, it turned to that he just had a couple questions and seemed satisfied that my end goal in transition was to get srs. It makes e really happy to know that he likes me but not because I'm trans but can accept it.

Tomorrow I have a job interview for a better position at different company than where I work now. If I get the job it will enable me to save enough money from now until September of 2011 to get srs anywhere I choose.  I've got my fingers crossed, hopefully it works out.

Here's a few photos of me from when I was skyping with him. Some how he managed to take a screen shot of me while we where talking and sent it to me. HRT is a miracle.

Thank you everyone :D

I wore a very professional tan pencil skirt with a matching top and my green cardigan. It goes really well together with a pair of heels. It's the second time I've worn heels in public. I figured I needed to be as dressed up as possible and it's almost the equivalent of a mens tie. If I get the job though the heels would be more for meeting with clients then the general work day.

The office is so close to me and they sound like they are looking for the same thing as me; a person that starts off as the programmer and logistics person but grows into a manager for the programming and design department. So I'm really excited about it and hope they call me back or send me an offer letter.

The best thing though was that the entire time I didn't have to worry about slips in pronouns or names and I was just accepted as I am. It was funny the interviewer brought up the question about how do I feel working with guys. I told him that in my line of work I have worked with lots of men and although I don't always understand why they do the things they do it's not a problem working with them. That's when I knew I was completely 100% passing well that and when the hr person brought up maternity leave as part of the benefits. In all of my interviews I've been on as a guy maternity leave was never ever brought up. So I'm feeling very accepted and excited.

As far as things go with the bf he is taking me out to Red Lobster tomorrow to celebrate the interview and then maybe come back to my place and play some Nintendo Wii party games.

I sent a thank you letter to the two people that interviewed me yesterday. I wasn't expecting a response at least until Monday but I received positive responses from both of them this morning. So I guess I made a good impression.

The date was awesome last night. When he came to pick me up he gave me a vase of roses. When we got back from dinner he dropped me off and we had our first kiss. I was giving him a hug goodbye and he leaned in and I leaned in a bit and before I knew it he gave me a kiss and whispered in my ear good night. It was electric and afterwords it took me like five minutes to get my door open. I was just kind of floating around in my townhouse with a smile on my face for most of the night afterwords.

Awww! I can just picture that too. It makes me happy that you have found someone like that. It makes me hopeful that after my divorce I won't have to spend the rest of my life alone.

I met a girlie the other day after thinking only about guys for like a month (Camp four in Yosemite is kiiiind of climber dude heaven).

And my oh my, I've never been so thoroughly swept off my feet. She's Bi, and I'm way out with new people that I meet, and she was very, very interested. My heart thumps so hard at the thought of her. Ohhhhh swoon.

Epic, epic swoon.
