So today officially marks six weeks since my srs and, given some minor issues and worries, everything is going great.
The sutures which have been causing me grief have finally come loose andI no longer have my clitoral area feeling like it is being pinched. The hard area of erectile tissue has become softer and has become less swollen and it no longer feels like I have a permanent erection whenever I walk. Overall, the discomfort and little pain I have had has diminished, but I still walk gingerly to avoid accidentally over doing it and causing damage.
My physical energy is at an all time high and today was spent running errands and shopping. I finally have enough comfort and energy to buy clothes.
Not sure what it is, but people are treating me differently--they're nicer. Not sure what it is, but I really haven't changed other than srs and a trach shave. Maybe I just don't care anymore and appear more comfortable, maybe I exude some sort of different aura. Not sure what it is, but I definitely like it--I feel normal for the first time in my life.
Anyways, time to dilate and hit the hay! More later.
