So, last weekend my wife and I went shopping & I got some very masculine looking professional attire.
On Tuesday, I wore some of my new clothes and it felt good. Then I had a doctors appointment -- i have tons of medical issues so I have to go see my doctor at least once year. Well, I came out to her that I was trans -- totally did not phase her in the least. She immediately started addressing me in the male pronoun and using Rob. I showed her my transition plan ... she said was not comfortable prescribing T to me ... and I explained the doc that does it for our area works with my wife and I had gone to her house for social things. So, as I sat there she sent a message to the doctor who handles trans stuff and asked if they could work together to get my needs meet. My plan said to start T in Jan...and she looked my plan over and said it looked great to her. Some of my medical conditions are a bit out of wack - so she she & I are working on getting them in line -- but she said she felt confident that I could start T by Jan if not sooner!
Then I went to the pharmacy and got my scripts filled -- and the pharmacist who knows me by name cause I am there so frequently addressed me as sir.
I was on cloud 9 all night long ... seems to all be coming together now!
Oh, my doctor also said she saw no point of me seeing a therapist and that informed consent would be just fine for me.
