Help! - I think I've done something stupid...

I really hope I'm being paranoid, but I think I made a mistake. My dad went ahead and let me use his credit card to order a binder from Loveboat, but the number didn't go through on the paypal page. It said it was invalid, so I decided to cancel it and go back because I didn't know why it wasn't working... but back on the love boat site it says order is confirmed and processing... what does this mean? If the credit card number hasn't gone through, doesn't that mean the order won't be shipped or charge the account?  I'm worried because my dad is angry at me and thinks I've done something stupid. He doesn't know anything about the website, so he thinks the whole thing might be a scam or something. I just really hope the order will cancel or something, because I can't deal with the emotional pressure of doing something like this and having it backfire. I feel like my dad will never trust me again if something goes wrong.

I'm not sure if any of you can help me, but please if you can I'd be grateful. You don't think the order will charge my dad's account do you?

Contact the LoveBoat folks.  They're very quick with getting back via e-mail and can straighten this out for you better than anyone here can.

I've had this nonsense from other ecommerce sites but if it said it is confirmed and processing the binder will arrive as promised.  so tell Dad don't worry.

log back into paypal. view your paypal account. if the money was sent to love boat, it will show on your paypal balance. if not, order again, and contact them to cancel the first order.

If you put the number in wrong and loveboat cant charge you they should notify you that the order is canceled. Processing means just that. Someone is reviewing the order and retailers aren't supposed to charge you until it's ready to ship. If you don't see a status change in a few business days send them an email.
