SO we are damned either way. Medicine and psychiatry damn us for being born intersex. And when their crude, often utterly wrong guess at what sex we are turns out to be wrong, they damn us for pointing out their mistake.
Worse, if they have hacked and slashed at our tiny genitals as children in order to make them cosmetically resemble some bizarre notion of the ideal genitals of whatever sex they want us to be, and if whatever sex they have chosen for us turns out to be wrong, and they have already destroyed our lives with the needle and the knife, then they can damn us for being mentally ill and damn us in yet another way altogether.
