"Hedwig and the Angry Inch" — This gender-bending, East Berlin transsexual trailer-park revenge tragedy musical features a near-perfect performance by John Cameron Mitchell as the titular Hedwig, a beautiful transsexual who had a botched sex-change operation to get out of East Berlin just before the wall went down.
