Greetings,  I have chose to go by the name Joanne here, since I really don't use an alternative name.  My story is simple, I started crossdressing at the tender age of 4 or 5, and I got busted.  The dressing went away for about 3 years, until the older step brother moved in, and forced me to do some things that boys aren't supposted to do.  During this time I was forced back in to the femme, and I went on a private tear, wearing womens clothes at every opportunity, no matter how many times I got busted.  Around 1991, "she" went into hiding, and didn't come out until 1994.  I thought nothing more of it, until '97; when "she" came roaring back into my life, by this time, I was married with a daughter.  From that point I sporadically dressed, until 2002.  In December 2002, the wife wanted to "open" our relationship, and I outed myself in the process, to which I somewhat regret to this day.  Anyways, I went on an "experimenting" tour with men, as I was curious what it was like to be with another on my terms.  This experiment ended in September 2003, as I found out that it was not for me.  I consider myself a lipstick lesbian in a mans body.  I went to a therapist in '04, which proved to be a complete waste of time, and purged my entire wardrobe in '05.  My dressing was reassessed sometime in '06, and I have found that "she" and I, can live side by side in the same body.  I continue to dress 2 to 3 times a week.  I stick to the basics of skirts, pantyhose, and when the daughter is nowhere to be found, make-up.  I finally told my mom in 2008, and surprisingly she accepted it.  I sincerely hope to meet some friends here, and help the newcomers to our ranks out there.  I am so glad I'm here, as I have anticipated this posting for over a week now.
