"Being transgender for some is like coming out twice and it is a major life change and adjustment," says Skye. TQ Nation hopes to provide comfort and community throughout those adjustments and beyond.
How would you define your role in Atlanta's LGBT community?
My role for the Atlanta LGBT community is to help educate and make the "T" in LGBT never grow silent. As president and co-founder of TQ Nation, my goal is to bridge the gap in our community and to help others not feel alone. Being transgender for some is like coming out twice and it is a major life change and adjustment.
