I have been on E and spiro  for 7 months. I have seen some change in my breast(not much) :(,
I think my biggest change is my waist is gotten smaller..I keep wanting to see a little dif in my face, but not yet..Of course thats what i notice. My legs and arms are smaller as well. What is next for me?? I am also sure my confidence when going out  is MUCH better too.

Face changes are very difficult to notice day to day and they do tend to take longer.  You won't really realize it until you have a current picture and a pre hrt picture next to each other.  Then suddenly you realize all that has gone on.

Hormones change the contours of your face by changing where your body deposits fat. They do nothing to the bony structures but, after a few years, will round things out a bit.  Everyone is different but for me it took over two years to notice significant changes in the way my face looked. 7 months is still fairly early; Be patient, grasshopper :-)

Most women worry about their weight and Transwomen are no exception but  I think one of the best things that you could do to capitalize on the effects of HRT is gain some weight. The fat you gain will have a tendency to find its home in, "all the right places." I started gaining about 6 months into HRT and I began to worry about it until I realized that all that weight was going to my butt, thighs, face and .... yup! The girls ;-)  So have an extra serving of pasta here and there and see how wonderfully you start to fill out your jeans!

It's true that you don't really see it happening, though... I avoided looking at pics of "him" after I came out. I recently started to feel a little more comfortable looking recently; The difference is dramatic.

I didn't know if my face changed or if it was wishful thinking.  I only see my sister 3 or 4 times a year.  Last time I was there (18 months HRT) she remarked about how feminine my face had become.  People who see you every day may not notice, but those who only see you once in a long while may.

I think the changes are a bit slower for us older gals, too. :P

yeah it does take a while for facial changes. i didnt notice any (exept my skin seemed lighter and clearer) until i took a photo of my face with my hair tied up
and i was shocked at how much softer and rounder my facelooked compared to pre-hrt :)
