Perry's portrayal of Wilson is equally charming as the character naturally evolves from a frightened, inexperienced adult into a more passionate and self-aware person able to face the world with less fear.

Tullis is the most static of the characters and has the least amount of stage time. As such, Fossen's even-keeled performance suits the role perfectly but doesn't necessarily show off her range as an actress.

"She Was My Brother" pleasantly breezes through its 90-minute run time. The production is simple but effective and makes for a wonderful night out at the theater.
