Valerie

Well hi....

Kind of embarrassed that I haven't been on here in forever...at least, 'forever' enough that my old account now has me as a 'guest'....  anyway, I'm back & hope to be more involved again.  Susan & those who knew me then, hello again!  I've missed interacting on this site with you wonderful people!  And to those I don't know, I look forward to meeting you & talking with you on the forums.

I'm Valerie, an ally living in Gainesville, FL.  I work in the healthcare industry behind a desk with my face in the computer, faxes buzzing in one ear, headset on the other ear.  I love my job.  I go to the Unitarian Church here & love it.  I have no TV but I read & write poetry when the muse inspires me.  I love animals, nature, God, discovery, hearing people's stories, daydreaming, learning about various things.  I believe in the goodness of humanity.  I don't own a single pair of white socks....and the socks I do wear aren't necessarily matched, lol.

And.... I have to run catch the bus now....  but I'll be back!!!

Hi Valerie, :icon_wave:

Welcome back to our little family. Over 4100 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister. :icon_hug:

And of course you remember the rules, but so you have them ready:

Hugs and Love,
Janet

Hello Valerie,
Welcome back to Susan's.
Many of the people who were here when I first started in 2005 have left.
I kind of left for the better part of 2 years myself, but did checking in occasionally.
Anyway glad you are back too.

Well, what's it been?  Almost 2 1/2 years?  (thanks for keeping my account active!)

2 weeks after my last post, my closest Friend died.  Several months after that (and unrelated to Michael's death), I embraced atheism.  Since then I've started a blog, made a few new friends, got a really spectacular yearly eval at my job, then got a new boss (lemme' just say she ain't no rocket surgeon).  Went overseas this past summer, had a lil' fling while I was there.  Eh, day in, day out.  I live mostly in my head, not too much to report.

Just thought I'd say hullo again since it's been awhile.  I'll be around.  Missed y'all...

Happy Trails and Kitty Tails,
~Valerie
