The Only Ones Who Had a Problem With Her Son Cross-Dressing On Halloween Were Other Mothers

If you want to read the Feel Good Parent's Story Of The Year, then you must read this true life tale about one mother's quest to make sure her son wore the Halloween costume of his choice, even if it was Daphne from Scooby Doo.

The post is titled "My son is gay," but the first paragraph follows up with, "Or he's not. I don't care. He is still my son. And he is 5. And I am his mother. And if you have a problem with anything mentioned above, I don't want to know you." LOVE HER!

She is definitely one of the "Mom of the Year" winners.  The others get the "Mom is a Wiener" award.

That mom is cooler than James Dean & the other side of the pillow & ice cold combined.  :D :D :D

Oh I just saw this somewhere else right before logging in to Susan's!   Love that mama-bear's attitude, and that lil' kid's spunk!  What's sad is that those other mothers are going to influence their own kids in the wrong direction.  But maybe 'Boo' & his Daphne costume will give other kids the same courage.  And hell, it was a cute costume!  8)   ~Valerie
