i posted this rediculously emo post earlier and i took it down.  my brother was threatening to tell my parents; he doesnt consider me a brother or anything to him at all....he hates me. [well he should now, i gave him a good asswhopping before i] CAME OUT TO MY FATHER. I was an emotional wreck, i was SO sure he was going to beat the living daylights out of me. But he sat down and listend to everything i had to say and told me he'd support me no matter what! I told him how very important it is we see a gender therpist, he was all for it [except i notice he got a bit weird when i mentioned that the gender therapistt gives his/her approval for hormones and surgery]. IT FEELS SSOOOO GOOD TO BE OUT AND FREE. I told him about my bus rides to Center Lane, and how i will be attending prideworks. I told him how im doing EVEN BETTER this year in school than last year now that i am out to EVERYONE....well minus my mother. She's been seeing a therapist herself for the past 2 months, so im sure her therapist will help in the coming out to her process. I dont know if anyone will read this or give a ->-bleeped-<-, but i HAD to tell EVERYONE how good it feels to have SOMEONE at home love me and know who i REALLY AM.

That's awesome! Congrats! Being out to family is a huge relief. I remember I was practically dancing after I came out to everyone with mostly positive responses.

Congratulations, Aiden. It's always great to hear family being accepting. I hope the rest of your life will continue to go as smoothly. Best wishes!

That's great! Maybe you're dads positive reaction will help with your brothers acceptance? (The one that's hostile)

Wow, congratulations Aiden!  I hope he'll be helpful with explaining things to your brother and mother.

Congrats man, that's great! I'm sorry your brother was being an @ss. But that's great about your dad being accepting.  :eusa_dance:

I was so afraid of telling my dad, too. I was expecting the worst from both my parents. But my dad and I had a very awkward man-to-man chat in the car one day, and he told me that he just wants to me to be happy, and he's just glad that I trusted them enough to tell them instead of hurting myself.

Congrats on being out, man! Feels amazing, right? As soon as I told my parents, I just felt relieved for the rest of the day, knowing that from now on, I don't have to hide or pretend.

thanks everyone :]
@febfalls, because my father is accepting, my older brother will see no problem in his only 'sister' becoming a brother to him. and my father can better explain to him why its okay. my TWIN brother on the other hand, will just have to suck it up and deal.
