So starting with awesome good news ---- Got a letter from my endo/psych who works for the government to change my drivers license to female without any surgery which is most rad

So got that updated yesterday although its a bit embarrassing having my boy name on the card next to (F) ; So have sent the forms away for my name change. The girl at the motor registration was super nice and said she wished she could update my name and made a joke about me having to work on a new signature

Anyway so advice on that --- A girl friend who's fathers got recently diagnosed with multiple cancers and has had to live with him on a farm for last month asked me to come spend a week with her in the city as shes going nuts. So im flying over to see her on Saturday buuuuuuuutt.....I know she's going to want to go clubbing heh and although she knows I like guys(been openly "gay" for a few years) im not out to her as Trans yet(was planning on telling her after i've settled in for a few days
, pretty sure she knows anyway..hell I told her cousin who i think tells her everything

But yeah, do you think bouncers would give me trouble for having female gender on my ID card with a boys name? ? ?
I dont mind a dodgy look lol but not keen to field a bunch of questions in a line outside a club heh. Damn awkward stage of transition

Oh and the Dad thing...yeah so not looking forward to this heh...Mum & sister have known for ages so I know that alone is going to cut him (the fact he was kept out of the loop regarding the issue I have been in therapy for). Im expecting a 4-7min conversation tops followed by a "ok i need to process this, stop talking about it, i need a drink" sought of line or maybe a few tears on his behalf and telling me how much it will hurt.
Its really all up to how strong my mother chooses to be and I use the word "choose" very strongly and she is highly manipulative and will more than likely be on her 5th glass of wine. She goes from one day where she is understanding, sympathetic and even saw my gender therapist! But other days she tells me im to blame for all her problems and that I cant commit to anything and ill fail
.....But hey....hopefully just the booze, meds, fear & denial talking. She has read all the literature, talked to doctors, knows the facts and is in that last stage of bargaining.
Hell she even offered to pay for a free penile enlargement and thickening surgery lol!, classing bargaing, but of course I reiterated I hate my current stuff and thats why at 25y.o I still refuse to use it in sex. But cha, maybe one day I can swing her around to paying to get rid of it ^^ *dream on lol*
