I had to stop hrt for surgery and now this happened

Hi all
I have concerns I want to address them here

I have been on hrt for 8 or 9 years now but recently
I had to stopped my hrt for two months
to do major surgery
And now I feel my Adam apple increased in size and my body hair became thicker
Before it was not noticeable and my body hair was fine

[emoji22] the problem is I have to stop my hrt after few months for month / month and half to do another major surgery

I'm afraid the male characters will become so obvious

What is your thoughts

Hi rose, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Back when I was in high school I dated a cis-girl that had a noticeable adams apple and a friend of mine dated a cis-girl who had arms that had more hair on them than his. I've known cis-women that were over six foot and built like a lumberjack. Heck, my mother was routinely sir'd. The point is even cis-women can have male characteristics and it doesn't make them any less of a woman, and the same goes for you.

Talk it over with your doctor. While you may need to stop the estrogen early, you might be able to continue with the blocker until a few days before surgery. Depending on the blocker, it may interfere with what they use in surgery but on the plus side, the blocker should flush out of your system pretty quickly so you will only be off it for a few day.

If taking non-oral bio-identical estradiol, you can argue with your doctor/surgeon and state that you are just like a ciswoman, you take the same hormone and in the same way (secreted directly into your blood) so that if a ciswoman is allowed to get major surgery without being asked to remove her ovaries or take a drug to suppress hormone production, you should also be allowed. Several studies have shown that when estrogen is taken non-orally, coagulation is not significantly affected, risks don't significantly increase and can actually decrease at levels typically seen for transwomen. My own experience confirms this as clotting times remain normal despite levels of estradiol between 1,000-4,000 pg/ml on injectable estradiol.

It's important to discuss about these things with doctors if we are to improve treatment of transwomen. If we stay quiet and blindly follow, nothing will ever change. We shouldn't have to go through these difficult times if not justified. We deserve right treatment and to be heard.

My 2 cents...

I did the surgery and finish the recovery now I return to my hormones again
But The problem is when I stopped hrt for my surgery my skin become very oily and Now i suffer from acne ( I think it's hormonal acne )
My skin was very clear with hrt before I had to stop it

I change my entire care routine
To mange this problem but still with little success

How long I have to wait until my skin return to normal ?

Btw the doctor who will do my srs require his patients to stop their hrt one month before their surgery date
Which I will do it in few months from now 
So I have to stop my hrt after awhile again for my srs

What should I expect when I stop them again after short time from restarting them ?

I take androcur and estrodial pill ( these are the only form of hrt available )

I only stopped Androcur about 6 weeks before SRS but continued taking bicalutamide, a lower dose of estrogen sublingually, progesterone and finasteride so no problems.
