Two days after last week's election, Mayor Stu Rasmussen was sitting in his usual spot at the intersection of Main and Water streets in Silverton.

Wearing his signature spiked heels and an acid wash denim skirt, he shielded his eyes from the sunlight, showing off perfectly manicured long, red fingernails.

A horn blared and the driver yelled out the window, " Attaboy, Stu!"

Minutes later, another man hollered from across the street, "Congratulations, Stu!"
"Be yourself; everyone else is already taken." Oscar Wilde
