I feel a little better. I guess misery loves company?     I just measured mine and they are 3.5" at the very widest and 7.5" long.  I am 5'11" and about 200 lb and I have lost 45 lbs. since May 1st.  I just bought 34" waist mens jeans for the first time in 18 years and it felt great! Gotta love that ADHD medication...   ;D

How much does HRT affect the hands? If I lost some of the muscle on the side of my hands as well as between my thumb and index finger, I think I could have pretty nice hands.  My finger nails are kinda wide though which makes it hard to find nice nails but the nails sure make my hands look nicer!

Misery really does L-O-V-E, love company. I'm 5'11", my hands are 7.5" long, 3.75" wide and my middle finger between the first and second knuckle is 2.75" in circumference. Also, I'm 149lbs, and I hope to lose some of it. If I lose some weight, I might be able to lose some small portion of the mass in my hand, and hopefully see my shoe size come down even just a little from a 11.5/12 wide.

Probably like you all, I look at other women, admiring them and thinking about what is normal on women and how I am not normal for a woman as a mtf ts.  But I have noticed some other women, not a lot who have large strong hands.  I know of one women in my church who is taller and she has hands as large as I do.  Maybe not as fat as she is thin, but she also has large feet too.  So we tend to look at the dainty pretty girls and think they are all like that, but they are not. There are some women who have larger hands too!

I seem to have larger hands than many most of my male friends. Then again, I am taller than them, so I find some solace in that.

Mrs Erocse

In Limbo I love your new Avatar. You are looking good.  :)

OK, I have learned a little trick. And yes hrt does reduce the size, well at least reduce the muscle mass.

If your hands have had a hard life, as mine have. Put a little foundation on them before you go out. Good foundation lasts pretty long and it will make your hands not stand out so much, while covering scares and maybe pronounced veins you may have.

OK, I will make you feel good about yourself again.  I am 5'10. Which isn't too bad. Although when I go out in heels and into the restroom I am immediately reminded of why they call it "the little girls room",

Anyway. If I stretch my arms out in each direction. My reach is 75" (from tip of middle finger to tip of other) I think I got most you beat !!!!  And no my knuckles do not drag on the ground .

And I have large hands, but you know... I'm OK with all that, Life is good !!! :) :)

@ Mrs Erocse: Thanks for the compliment Mrs Erocse! Oh, and by the way, you and Erocse are such a cute looking couple.

@ Erocse: The foundation applied to the hands, cool idea. I wonder if that trick could be used for forearms too. I used to have veiny arms and hands, but that's pretty much gone now. Compared to other women, we are amazionian. :D "The little girls' room" just made me laugh. So true.

The foundation does help on the hands and forarms even. I have a little bit of psoriasis on my elbow and knuckles (which is almost gone thanks to Humira! Love that stuff) and it helps vastly with the appearance.

I am so happy to see Erocse and Mrs. Erocse posting again. I was afraid that you would disappear for a while after the horrible thing that Erocse's brothers did. You two are a great asset to this community and you would be very much missed if you left. How has being outed worked out? I imagine that it is horrific and traumatic but I see where not having to hide could be a relief in the end though.  Anyways, I hope it all works out for the best and I just want to give you a big hug!  :-)

Thank you Stacy, We are both glad to be here.

Funny I never had Psoriasis until I stared hrt. I got it on my elbows too. I know that Psoriasis came be caused by high hormone levels. But I was Ok with that. After nine months I started Progesterone and the  Psoriasis went away. I cycle progesterone so my  Psoriasis comes back every time I am off progesterone and it goes away when I am on it.

    Hugs, Erocse

Ask your doctor for clobetasol ointment and use it at the first sign of an outbreak. Treat it agressively or it will just get worse! They even make the clobetasol in a foam mouse that works good if it gets in your scalp.  I guess HRT could agravate it because you don't have as much oil in your skin.  Don't mess with anything over the counter or any snakeoil sold on the internet as it's all a waste of money.

Mine is well under control since I started taking the Humira early this year. Thank (the diety of your choice) that I have decent medical insurance as cost about $1,000 a month for bi-weekly injections... The drug manufacturer even picks up the copay so I'm pretty lucky.

I have smallish hands, but I'm always destroying them by crack climbing. I hope they'll reduce their size in breadth once I'm on HRT. That and my arms and shoulders. I think those are my most manly attributes.

hmm... 5ft11" 126lbs and 7x3" hands that are VEINY AS HELL (in heat).

Not only that, but DRY AS HELL. Plus I hate moisturising.

I have to breath onto them before putting them to a piano, otherwise they slip around all over the place.

This is off-topic, but important ... if you are 5'11" and weigh 126lbs, your Body Mass Index is 17.6, which is underweight. You won't come to any harm if you stay at or above that level, but drop much below it and you could be entering the point where there start to be quite serious health implications. I know this is none of my business ... but someone very close to be nearly died because of an eating disorder and during the several months she spent in hospital I got to know a lot of other patients and their families and saw the devastation that excessive weight-loss can cause, not just to the person suffering it, but also to their loved ones who have to watch the person they love becoming emaciated before their eyes.

So I guess what I'm saying is, please be careful and look after yourself, or hands will be the least of your worries.

OK, I'll butt out now ...

My fingers are kinda thick and short..well...not short but not as long as many women I see. My hands are only 6 inches from wrist to tip of the middle finger though! Every girl I've compared to has same or bigger hands than I do ._.
