Coming out to my singing teacher?

Hey guys. So I was considering coming out to my singing teacher but maybe not anytime soon. I just wanted some opinions. She has become a VERY good and somewhat close friend of mine over the past couple of months. And on her facebook page there's a video of her saying she supports gays and lesbians so I'm assuming she supports trans people as well. I am wondering that I probably should come out to her because once T changes my voice she'll have to teach me different techniques because my voice will sound different. Even though I probably won't be transitioning for a while. But I was wondering what you guys think. I don't think the video was making fun of the LGBT community because even though she was fooling around in the video she's always like that and I truly believe she supports it and also hangs out with a crowd that supports it because there were comments also supporting the video saying "yeah, some chicks marry chicks and some dudes marry dudes! Get over it guys!" Anyways what do you guys think. Should I consider coming out to her?  ???

Josh,

A month ago I would not address this post. I was not out to hardly anyone.  But now a month later I am out to most everyone. So I say "GO FOR IT" I think you will feel so relieved once it is done. Besides I think if she knew she could help you with the changes that will take place in your voice.

Good luck to you, and hugs, Erocse

It sounds like you're pretty close to her and I know you've been questioning a lot for a while. If I were you I would go for it. She's an adult who will not only help you with voice changes but could also be a great person to listen and give you advice and I think all of us need that at some point.

Thanks, I think she'll be one of the fiurst people I'll come out to.
