Bill c-389 is a bill that will make is a jailable offense to discriminate against transexuals and transgender individuals based on gender expression/identity. Personally, I find the fact that the government is going for this as completely awesome and inspiring, actually. This means people such as myself in Canada will no longer have to worry about the de-humanizing letter we need to carry around, just to make sure we don't get our asses handed to us for having to pee.

Unfortunately for those of us who do not identify as our birth gender, is has come to my attention that the Catholic Church has a problem with us peeing. They seem to think that we are miscreants, "homosexuals, predators and perverts." They have a strong feeling apparently, that we are going to rape and gangbang their children, despite there not having been ONE SINGLE documented case since transitioning went public.

Perhaps the answer to both sides would be for the government to mandate all buildings open to the public to be equipped with uni sex restrooms.

Hey, I'd take their word for it, they are the institutional experts on it after all.

If someone wants to come at me with some 'caring about the children' they better be doing better than Father Pedo and Sister Looktheotherway.

Instead of you girls, they want me, a 6'2, long haired, too-lazy-to-keep-clean-shaven, leather-jacket wearing, 200lbs, bloke with a deep voice to walk into the girls room.

Who do you think's gonna make girls more uncomfortable?
-.-

They haven't thought this through have they?
