Today I was just feeling down about my hands and feet. Yesterday I was hanging out with my friend hand we compared our hand and mine were a lot bigger than hers, and then I put my size 11 in mens next to her 8 in womens and it made me feel even worse.I thought I had gotten past this but I just can't shake the feeling that this is really going to hold me back.

Are you much taller than her? It's not uncommon for women and men to have the same sized feet if their height is similar.
I'm assuming you are 5'11'' to 6'1'' ?

We are all feel down about our bodies at some time or the other ... every time I see my knees I keep wondering how am I going to look as a woman... (I have short and heavy athletes legs & large bones on my legs...  and weak upper body except for the shoulder... ) Every time I see a beautiful girl with long legs I cant help being a bit jealous & down on myself knowing I may never have legs like that...

as trans people we need to accept the things we cant change and grateful for the things we can (as someone once said in their signatures in this forum).. It will take time but we need to believe, love and respect ourselves for who we are... as that's what makes us unique...
Sometimes when life is a fight - we just have to fight back and say screw you - I want to live.

Sometimes we just need to believe.

Hi Tori,

I know how you feel.  I wear size 12.5 wide women's shoes.  I am a tad under 6'0".  It is so annoying that I I am virtually excluded from almost any retail shop catering to women's shoes.  Target through Nordstrom's cater to size 11 women's and under.  JC Penney is especially bad in this area.

Hey, you're the perfect height!  ;)

Well, I mean my ideal height. I would love to be a couple inches shorter.

You know like they say though, grass is always greener.

Speaking as someone who just bought a pair of size 16 m-US running shoes today, I can assure you that 11 isn't that bad.

Really? Thanks. I just got over my height problem; I wanted to be 5'6" which could still happen. I've really started to embrace my height. So If I get the loss that would be great, but if I don't I'd be perfectly fine. I think that's one of the few things I no longer worry about.

My step mother was about 5'7" and had size 11 feet.

She had 2 kids.

My most recent ex was a tall girl with size 11 feet. Tall chicks are hot :P

I agree, tall chicks are mad hot, but so are short girls.

Hell, chicks are hot no matter their height or foot size.

You made me giggle some  ;)

But yah, Tori. We all feel bad about certain aspects of our body. I have larger feet, I'm a bit overweight, I haven't even laser'd my facial hair yet. But if I just focus on these things it will keep me from being happy. The fact is we all have a lot more good stuff going for us than bad stuff. Even with my flaws, with some good makeup and expensive foundation, I can cover my stupid beard and even pass.

Everyone has flaws. Don't let yourself get down because you have flaws like that. Try to identify the good things about you, and highlight them. I have nice eyes (so I'm told), so I highlight them and bring attention to them. It takes away from the light shadow on my face. I have decent sized boobs, so I where lower cut shirts to show them, and it distracts people from my weight.

I'm sure you're beautiful. You just need to find it for yourself.

*hugs*
