Thanks Helena for the compliment and your new avatar is pretty.  Jennifer Red is decidedly festive. I admired the silver sweaters too. I love to sparkle. I always say that every woman should sparkle. I will buy sweaters just because they have rhinestone buttons. I love buttons too.  :D

Two of the most nicest ladies I have ever met are Erocse and the Mrs.  They are two very pretty women.  But Mrs. E is right.  When I first began this journey I was very upset with my problems.

I went into a meltdown one day and was thinking of the Big Step Out.  Then I looked at myself in the mirror and thru the tears these thoughts ran through my mind.

"What if you were born female?"
"And you still had these problems?"
"All the women in your family have them."
"What are you going to do now?"
"Just give up?"

As I looked at myself and thought on these words, I realized that I am still a woman, I just have some things that the women of my family face.

Now when I get ready for the day, I always finish with a "Good Morning Beautiful".

Amen, amen and amen ... to EVERYTHING Janet Lynn says here.  She and I have had this very conversation ... with her being my cheerleader saying these words to me and soothing one of my many bum-out sessions.

Just this afternoon, no joke, I was reading "No Way, Renee!" by famous and pioneering transsexual Renee Richards.  On pages 232-233, she says that there are some transsexuals who should NOT try to present as women due to what she calls lack of what she labels "somatic compliance."  What's THAT mean?  Renee Richards explains that some transwomen are so masculinized that they will never pass and will place themselves in harm's way by attempting to.

This is me!  Okay, so I've got the legs ... the hips ... the aesthetic bone structure going for me, but these wide-assed shoulders and way-broad back will get me SOOO clocked by the douchebags and a-holes out there that I'll be asking for a hassle.  Like, what genetic woman has shoulders and a back like this?  Professional female bodybuilders ... Oh, Christ!  Sigh ... Yet another thing I get well-nigh suicidal about.

Thank you, Janet Lynn for your VERY wise words!

Thank YOU, Mrs. Erocse, for starting this BEAUTIFUL thread!

Janet Lynn knows The Erocses better than I do, but I can attest to how awesome they are!  Erocse and Mrs. Erocse, what a much better world this would be if only more people in it were like you two.

Hugs & Peace!    :D   Lacey
Believe.  Persist.  Arrive.    :D

Good words to live by.

Sometimes we forget how lucky we are. I feel upset at times going out a splurging while I know others cannot. I feel for those in countries that will never accept them, and indeed will persecute them.
For my sisters and brothers here who are fighting the fight. I have been totally blown away by how supportive people on this site are. I am taking joy in my life thanks to my friends here, my weekends can be tough, my friends know why, but every weekend is another hill. But thanks to all of you, I cope, even if I get a little emotional ::). As Alexis posted too me, "It's the whoremones dear, just the whoremones.

Love to you all and Erocse and Mrs :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*
