Hey. My name is Lan. I've been wearing a binder most days since late March/early April. It's an Underworks FTM Chest Binder. I fall right in between sizes, so I got the slightly bigger one. I've really liked it, but I think it's wearing out. I wash it using the washing machine with cold water about once or twice a week. When I got it, I'd seen things that say when it starts to wear out, you can wash it in hot water and it will tighten up again. Does this work? I can't find where I'd seen that. Any advice would be helpful.

I toss mine in the dryer to tighten it up. Works every time but a lot of guys don't because it will most likely wear the binder out faster. I figure I'd rather it be tighter and not last as long then last longer and be useless.

i put my first binder in the dryer every time and it was pretty much done for within half a year....i don't know about hot water but the dryer seemed to break down some of the elastic thread, since i had some loose "plastic" threads showing after a while. one guy puts his in the freezer, not sure how that would help, though...
