Responding to a Reader

I normally wouldn't post a transphobic reader's comment like this, and the truth is, we get very few of them, anyway. And they mostly seem to come from the same person.

But I will make an exception because this reader feels that he has the right to be heard.

To the reader, I say: give us facts to back up your assertions. And then present those facts to the scientific communities, the medical profession as well as provincial and federal governments who grant us official gender changes. I do think, though, that these professionals know what they are doing. But if you know something they don't . . .

In my own case.

If I had managed to transision in my teens, or earlier, I would have most certainly sought out a long term relatioship with a man. I would have certainly hoped for a satisfying sex life with him.

To that extent, the comment has some truth.

Question is, what is his point?

Is he suggesting that there is something wrong with seeking to achieve a satisfying sex life?
