OK, please excuse my "muffin" top (it's also the shirt...no really) .  I gained a few pounds on HRT but I have joined a gym to get rid of them (I HOPE).

I went to the Doctors today and she was shocked at how well things were going. She was telling me that Mediterranean girls like me tend to be really curvy.  I started Sept. 30th of this year.
I'm still a little camera shy (my face), but I thought I could share with you these pics.


 





My skin is really soft and looks somewhat translucent. The fat is re-distributing itself and my neck looks a lot thinner.

No boobies yet. Just a little discomfort due to the intro of the nip buds.

I have not really gotten the whole fat redistribution, boobs yes.  But I don't have the hips or butt.  But I have gotten to the point that I accept what I have.

For those who get the girl butt and hips, I am happy for you.

Same here, sis.  Took 11 months on HRT also, but it IS happening.  We're older too, and that's a lot of it right there.  Congrats!

Better late than never, hon.  We're about the same age, give or take a year or two, so you KNOW that things were WAY different when we were in our 20s and 30s ... no Internet ... intolerant society ... hardly any resources.  In my circumstances, no way could I have come out then ... let alone even try to transition. 

Well, I'll bet it was pretty much the same for you, in your own circumstances and in your own way, of course.  We can STILL have meaningful lives as women.  Janet Lynn always tells me that, and she's always right, of course. 

Sure, I always regret not having started decades ago.  Sure, I envy young women, especially the biobabes.  But, hey, we're DOING it, and THAT'S the thing!
