Sometimes I think some of us overestimate the interest in -- and opposition to -- ->-bleeped-<-, transsexualism and the act of fully transitioning. I'm beginning to think that not many non-trans people really give this subject much thought. The vast majority of them don't care: their philosophy is "live and let live." And they probably feel that way about LGB folks, too.

Which, believe it or not, is a good thing. LGBT folks don't really want to stand out. They just want to be accepted for who they are, and I think acceptance has become the norm in Canada, certainly in Quebec, anyway.
