Uh oh - can't remember if I took my T or not!

Hey all,

I take my T shot every Sunday night. But I had some emergency dental work last weekend and was on some heavy medication. I remember a T shot - but I'm not sure if it was this Sunday or the Sunday before. This is crazy. I never forget.
Now I don't know what to do - what are the risks of taking an extra shot? I'm afraid of missing one and having 'things' start happening. I do feel kind of strange...

Can you call your doctor and ask?  Usually doctors know what the safest course of action is in that type of situation.

I would imagine you don't want to O.D. yourself... The next Sunday is not far away

Perhaps it is best to keep a running tally of when you take them so that in events like these you can refer to it.

'Course, it's just one extra thing you'd have to remember...

There's something to be said for single shot amps ;).

I might be being "captain obvious" here - but... go looking for an injection site? Evidence of needle prick, poke around and feel for a lump or sore spot, perhaps?

I'd guess that missing a dose wouldn't be as bad as double dosing. At least it won't convert to E.

Anyway - going a week without T isn't going to make you go "backwards" in the long run.

I suppose taking a half-dose mid-week might be a decent compromise. If you have injected, then your T levels would have dropped off a bit and the 1/2 dose might just put you at your "peak" T level for an entire week (as opposed to totally overshooting it with a full double dose). If you haven't injected, then you'd be back on track (and only missed 1/2 a weeks T).

Of course, I am in no way a doctor, endo, or anything else. I am completely and utterly talking out my rear end. I have absolutely NO medical knowledge. A medical professional is more who you'd be needing to speak to.
