Loudoun County supervisor says he's being 'condemned' because of dual roles

Loudoun Supervisor Eugene A. Delgaudio (R-Sterling) found himself at the center of a flurry of media attention last week after he wrote a widely distributed e-mail saying that the Transportation Safety Administration's pat-down safety procedures at airports are part of a "homosexual agenda."

Delgaudio told The Washington Post he thinks the backlash (reports have appeared on an assortment of Web sites and blogs, including 9NEWS.com, DCist, WTOP.com and the Loudoun Times Mirror site) is really about his having two jobs, one as the president of a deeply conservative organization that pays him $150,000 a year and one as an elected county official that pays $40,000. He said he is being "condemned" for his dual roles.

Nah, if he had said those things just in general there would be no issues, but when you start in on condemning the state security machine, then you're in trouble.

But, on the fun side, I'm sure TSA has him on their list now, he next flight should be swell.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...
