went super well. I'm pretty stoked. Went in and had an intake interview with a rather hot young psychiatrist and the spexcialists assistant. Had to fill out some surveys too. Then I had an appointment with the specialist (Warneke), the psychiatrist and the assistant.

Essentialliy, I have another check up appointment with the assistant in march, and another appointment with warnecke in july.

Meanwhile he wrote a referal to an endo and I'll hear from them in a month or two, also a referal to my doctor to start me on T if he feel's comfortable to. I got my carry papers, paperwork to go change my gender on drivers liscence, said they'd give me the paperwork for passport if I wanted (can't afford that change right now), and said that I'd likely get reffered for chest surgery next appointment.

From what' I've heard this is very unusal treatment for warneckes.. they have a 3 months RLT that they assign to everyone before refering for hormones, however they said since I'me already living full time and I pass well and ->-bleeped-<-.. that they'd just go ahead and write that stuff now.

I was so overwhelemed. I was only there for an hour and a half.. lots of talking etc. I didn't expect much since besides maybe a carry letter and a letter to change my gender.. not referals to endo's and stuff already. It's still all sinking in but I'm pretty happy.  XD HRT likely in Jan or Feb!

They gave you the fast track because they see a man. But then you are so obviously a man that it would be silly to make you prove it at this point.
Congrats dude!

hehehehe.. so happy. Cept for having less time to deal with the parents now. I was hoping for like T I'd still have.. 4ish months to reconcile this with them.. now I got a month or two. Ah well.

Ah well.. I'm hoping T will get me passing with everybody now. Passing with gay/lesbians is like at maybe a 50% rate.. maybe less. pretty crappy passing there. :( Kinda annpoyinh since most of my new friends are from that community... hey 'she'.. then i say something to let them know I'm a guy with out outing myself.. and seems to work.

Seconded!
I'm really excited for you.  Here's hoping your parents figure things out soon.

no kidding. My aunt who doesn't know about me who is sitting in the living room with my mom was just telling my dad about how gay people just have too many oppisite sex hormones.. and how a rpoduct she sells helps with hormones.. and gay people have gone straight taking it. And dad was like ooohhh that's interesting. I could hear the wheels cranking in his head. They also had a bunch of ex gay ex trans literature/movies sitting around the house when I got home this time.. and haven't used correct pronouns once this time home yet.. whereas they were voluntarily before. DX

Not looking forward to telling Dad I got fastracked for HRT.

well I'm going with Terrence for my first.. because my name is already Terri....

middle name I was thinking Tad.. but people were like just keep it as your nic name.

So I might go with Samuel Montgommery for 2 middle names: as that's what my parents would have called me had I been born male. But I donno if my parents would be happy about me using those family names
