I found it slower going with laser aswell as problems with regrowth although that might have been because my body was still on T at the time......

What kind of problems did you have?

Update:

Ok, next Friday I have my second laser appointment. Over the past week or two I've noticed it's been super easy for me to get a good close shave, for the first time in my life. While I didn't ever really notice much shedding, more must have than I had realized because my bear shadow wasn't nearly as bad as it normally is.

I took these pics a little while ago, in have a full 24 hours worth of growth. I can see a lot of hair just below the skin because of the flash, so I assume that shaving is gonna suck over the next week or so as those suckers start popping out. If even half of those little guys are killed off with my next session I'll be a happy girl.

Well during a course of 6 sessions 70% of my facial hair fell out, however over the next three following month after the sessions a large amount returned upto nearly three quarters of what I had originally.

Go get a tattoo just above your bicep that runs all the way around your arm. After that, you can endure any pain inflicted on you.

I actually just had my first electrolysis session Saturday. And while it did hurt it couldn't even compare to the horrific pain of that tattoo. The woman who was doing the work said I was such a pleasant patient because I didn't move around and cry. I showed her my tattoo and said that is real pain...this is not.

I've had a lot of electrolysis. I have terribly sensitive skin, and the pulses just about make me jump off the table, even when numbed up with the creams and everything.

So, if I'm doing the upper lip and chin, for example, I'll make an appointment with a dentist right before my electrolysis appointment and have dental blocks done. He charges $75 for six injections in the mouth, which don't hurt much at all, and my upper lip, lower lip, and chin are numb. For the next two and a half hours, I feel NOTHING. As a matter of fact, I usually fall asleep for an hour or two while my electrologist is working. Best $75 I've ever spent.

For the rest of the face, since I can't get dental blocks for those, I have subdermal injections done to numb the skin. They do it right there in the salon... Thankfully the owner is licenced to give the injections. Then, it's more nap time while she zaps away.

Thank goodness for anaesthesia!  ;D
