Fast forward a bit...

In a seminar class that I'm in this semester, I'm not the only one working on a trans-related topic.  On Wednesday, a week before last, one of those other people's presentation included a reference to the hubbub surrounding the public revelation of Christine Jorgensen's transition.

If you don't have a calendar handy, Wednesday, a week before last was Dec. 1.

That was the 58th anniversary of the 'Ex-GI Becomes Blonde Beauty' headlines.
