Anyone with any experience in this?

I've been doing some research, looking up bartending schools for me to go to soon so that I can have a job while I'm going to school in Manhattan.

Of course Technically I don't have to go to bartending school at all, but unless I know some one or something I think getting the work and training might be pretty difficult.

Of course, I could be 100% wrong so, Advice?

Talk to some bar tenders who are working. They are easy to talk to.

The more drinks you are slinging the more accurate you have to be.  In the pour.  In the count.  In the comps.

Other than that, people who are pretty self-actualized, self-confident, have an easy time relating to other and can pour a real drink do OK.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...
