So Ive started putting myself back in the dating scene after being single for quite a while (which is very daunting). If Ive planned in meeting someone Ive always made them aware about my past so they can make an informed decision about me. This not only filters the people out who are not really interested in me as a person ie just looking for some no strings attached fun and also a bit of a safety net for me. Today Im so relieved I do this because after speaking to one guy today his attitude changed from being smooth and wanting to get to know me to one of vitriol and hatred towards me. God only knows what would have happened to me if Ide actually met this man without telling him b4 hand.

What other safety tips are out there for the world of internet dating apart from the obvious of meeting in public places first off and never giving out personal details.

If you do meet someone, always bring a mother, a sibling, etc. for the first date, that way the dangerous rating will diminish greatly.
