After a false alarm with attendant deperession my surgeon has finally confirmed he can do me on 29th January.
I have to be at hospital on 27th morning to start the necessary bowel emptying etc as I have to have a colonovaginoplasty to get a working vagina.
I really want to try the #3 that other postops are ecstatic about. :D

Congratulations Lilac.

Can you keep me informed of how thing go please? Alison went up to see him last week because she has been having a long term problem which we thought would be quite minor (as indeed mine was) but now turns out to be a fair bit more serious and complicated. Like me she is well over 20 years postop.

Mr Bellringer was cautiously of the opinion that constructing an entirely new vaginal lining with a small section of colon would be the only real viable option to properly repair her internals, and naturally we are both concerned at the unexpectedly major nature of this procedure after so long.

I would therefore be VERY grateful for feedback via PM from you (and indeed any other girls who have gone for this option) so that I can put Alison's mind at rest.

Thanks - and really good luck to you. I hope it goes well and gives you what you want.

Congratulations ! I'm less enthusiastic about the colon thing because comments are bad, but what is needed is needed !

And well, I too would prefer a slightly weird part to a definitely wrong part. Tell us all about it ; who knows, maybe the comments I read exaggerated and colon-vaginoplasties are not that bad at all !
